In Celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week, New View is hosting a FREE Community Breakfast! Everyone is welcome! Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 8:30 – 10:30 AM
New View is being funded under the Canada Summer Jobs program to be able to hire four people for Temporary/Full time for (1) Facility Maintenance/Health Care Worker, (2) Clubhouse Assistant – Mental Health Worker, and (1) Administrative Assistant. The applicant must be registered as a full time student in Post-secondary education and will be returning full time in fall 2017.

On the 19th of September, 2016, New View Society celebrated its first Staff Appreciation Day. Kay Swalwell, who is one of our founders, and a current member of the Board of Directors, felicitated those of our colleagues who have served New View Society and its members over the past 10, 20, and 30 years.
New View Society is a proud participant in the Amanda Todd Legacy Society’s annual “Light Up Purple” campaign on World Mental Health Day on October 10th, 2016. World Mental Health Day is observed on October 10 each year with the objective of raising awareness of mental health issues all around the world.
