The Jersey Challenge: A New View of Mental Wellness
Community-based supports have become increasingly important as institutionalization is phased out, and hospitals continue to struggle with capacity to serve patients with mental health concerns. There is enormous demand for these supports, and service providers such as New View are often under-resourced, despite receiving some Government funding.

Staff Appreciation Day 2016
On the 19th of September, 2016, New View Society celebrated its first Staff Appreciation Day. Kay Swalwell, who is one of our founders, and a current member of the Board of Directors, felicitated those of our colleagues who have served New View Society and its members over the past 10, 20, and 30 years.
New View Society Lights Up Purple for World Mental Health Day!
New View Society is a proud participant in the Amanda Todd Legacy Society’s annual “Light Up Purple” campaign on World Mental Health Day on October 10th, 2016. World Mental Health Day is observed on October 10 each year with the objective of raising awareness of mental health issues all around the world.
