We can use your help

As the need for mental health services continues to grow so do the numbers we serve. By giving to the New View Society you are helping us embrace and support adults with a mental illness allowing for the best life possible within the limitations of the diagnosis they have been given.

General Donations

A General Donation allows the society the flexibility to utilize the funds for a wide variety of needs as they arise. Your contributions will ensure on-going community support services to adults who are living with a mental health diagnosis. We are calling on the community to help us in maintaining and enhancing the services our members require.

By making a donation TODAY you are helping us …

  • Maintain our supportive housing
  • Replace worn out furniture
  • Support our social enterprise businesses
  • Sustain our programming

Kay’s FUNdKay's-FUNd-Logo

Named in honour of one of our founding members and ongoing society supporter Kay Swalwell, this fund is dedicated to providing our members with much needed opportunities for social experiences and enrichment. These are activities they could not afford on their own yet are so vital to their recovery and well being as they live with a mental illness. Such activities would include attending concerts, sporting events, festivals, holiday socials, recreational outings, camping trips, or participating in personal growth and educational workshops.

By participating in the Thrifty Smile Card Program you can help support Kay’s FUNd while buying your groceries! Each time you load your smile card with funds, Thrifty foods will automatically donate 5% to New View Society’s fundraising account. To obtain a Smile Card please email Susanna Walden at swalden@newviewsociety.ca.

You can also make a bequest in your will. The choice to make a gift beyond your lifetime is a profound way to highlight the importance of mental health. A bequest creates a personal legacy and signals your heartfelt belief in hope and the on-going endeavors to integrate individuals with mental illness in our community.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact the Executive Director, Tiffany Melius, at 604-941-3222×102 or by email at execdir@newviewsociety.ca
