Do you want to evolve to the next stage in human
development? Then read this book!
With a wry wit like that of Oscar Wilde, a choppy style like that
of Kurt Vonnegut, and a blatant candor like that of Hugh Hefner, this book reveals how reality is
nothing more than a big mathematical chemical reaction of perceptions, principles, identities, and
MAGIC!
In this, part collection of science fiction short stories, part
autobiography of a madman, the author delves into concepts dealing with hell safety, pathos,
friendliness, love, magic, knowledge, and variety.
Tom is an ex-drug addict, with extensive experience in suffering
and misery, as a result of his addiction. He is over one year clean and sober, and his
autobiography offers advice and hope to those suffering from substance abuse.
This book can be ordered online at Trafford Publishing.

Devils and Architects: secrets of an extraordinary journey,"
follows my travels as the son of a Canadian diplomat, moving through postings in Moscow, Brussels,
Vienna and Canberra, Australia. Inspired by my travels I had a dream of becoming an architect.
However while I was attempting to negotiate a stressful architecture program serious complications
arose, as professors seemed eager to condemn me, and my behavior. Isolated, living in poverty and
lacking the support one may have thought should have been there I enter a dangerous world that
turns into a horrific psychosis.
Barely surviving a long, cold winter in Ottawa I am hospitalized
and told to abandon my ambition completely. Devastated by my experience and facing serious
compromises in my health and credibility, few are willing to believe my 'fantastic' allegations of
abuse. I become a Christian and compelled by the staggering changes in my life I become involved in
advocacy for persons affected by mental illness. However finding that I am haunted by a
post-traumatic stress disorder and realizing the lack of political will behind a Consumer movement
of the early '90s I abandon a systemic approach determined to pursue an individual
effort.
Shortly afterwards I experience a strange and extremely difficult
connection between mental illness and the supernatural as I am forced to endure three prolonged
spiritual assaults over a period of eight months, involving several hospitalizations in Riverview
and a dire suicide attempt. Realizing the danger of my tendencies I decide to change my life. I
settle down and marry determined to live a more stable life.
Time goes by as I occupy my creative
talents with poetry where again I am drawn into revisiting a manuscript that never seems to end.
This work is so many things, but to me I consider it a unique account of perseverance and courage.
A story that ultimately transcends a tragedy as the truth has not been lost but magnified and
although less than perfect it is to me a true reflection of a very long and extraordinary
journey.

Still Living the Best Life I Ever Had

I went into a coma that lasted fifty-two days, and during the
month and a half I was in it, I stopped remembering most of the important things I'd been taking
for granted all my life. It wasn't as if I'd forgotten everything I'd learned in life as this tries
to imply; it's more like sometimes things take longer to slip from my short-term memory into my
long-term memory than other times...
Today I see I'm an expert on myself and I don't have to pretend
I'm someone else anymore.
I wrote this book because I'd like my life to be counted as
something important in the scheme of things, and refreshing memories in other people's minds is a
feast for sure.
To order copies of the book, check with your local bookstore; the
order should be filled in about one week.
